Graduating from the DAMS program at the University of Florence in 2010 and earning a degree in Film Direction in 2012 from the SNCI, Matteo is a professor at the European Institute of Design (IED) in Florence, specializing in Film Theory and Analysis. In 2018, he co-founded the Pagliai Film Group, a film and television production company, and in 2021, he began teaching Film Direction at the Focus Movie Academy (FMA) in Florence. His expertise in cinematic direction spans various genres, complemented by their role as an Executive Producer on numerous Italian sets, including collaborations with Rai Cinema, NBC, SKY ARTE, Stanford University, and TV5 Monde. With a portfolio encompassing national brand commercials, documentaries, and cinematic works, their contributions to the industry include notable projects such as "El Poderoso – Siempre adelante!," "Moleria Locchi," "Il ritratto di Masri," "Come la prima volta," "Blackout," and "L’Incompiuta."
